What the paper learned by evening is that the week nearly didn't happen on schedule: the weekend's storm system — the same one that put tornado warnings over Fulton, Williams, and Wood counties Sunday night and blacked out the islands Monday morning — tore through the Napoleon fairgrounds, downing trees and damaging campers on the grounds.
