Wayne County has its first human West Nile case of the year, and the person does not live there. The county’s public health division announced the case this week. Chief Medical Health Officer Avani Sheth told residents that mosquito season is not over, and to keep off the lawn at dawn and dusk and tip the standing water out of anything holding it.
